The Trex line of chairs are great, they are just like our top choice the Polywood chairs! However, the color palette is staid, and you are paying a bit of a premium for the Trex brand name. They have the same 20-year warranty that Polywood does. .
They have incredible strength and resilience against weathering and fires. Consequently, they come with a heftier price than softwoods.

Tall people often miss out when it comes to Adirondack chairs as they are a low sitting chair by nature. However, this model has a slightly higher seat that measures 15″ from ground level. The total height of the chair is 40.5″, which is also very tall for an Adirondack chair. Giving the tall people the back rest and the seat height they deserve.
Pine: While pine takes more maintenance than teak, it is far more affordable. This light wood slowly fades to an attractive gray. As a softwood, it’s more susceptible to dings, scratches, and, unfortunately, bugs. You’ll need to refinish it every year or two to keep the wood looking its best and to help protect it from the weather. But if upkeep doesn’t worry you and you’re on a tight budget, pine is an excellent choice.
Something else that you might want to consider is looking for a chair that has waterproof or water-resistant hardware. Even though the plastic won’t be affected by the weather, the hardware certainly could be. The last thing you want is to have your new chairs ruined by some unsightly rust stains.

Here are other brands/types at Costco.com for a bit less, but none are blue. (Costco has a different white chair in the stores now, for only $129.99 per chair. Made by "Leisure Line") Thank you for this. I ordered the polywood set that comes with the table. I guess it costs more than the white one in store but reviews are great and there’s also a 20 year warranty. Fingers crossed! Thank you for this. I ordered the polywood set that comes with the table.
