Then decided I would keep them anyway only to find after unboxing all to assemble them 3 of 4 came with a wrong bar and could not be assembled. 3 hours of my life wasted dealing with them and I still need to go to UPS to return them Very small compared to my older real wood Adirondacks. For the price I would have expected a larger chair. Good size for me and my children but not for my husband. It's a great looker, nice design beautiful color. However the workmanship is a bit meh. Pieces initially didn't fit correctly, but once you sit on it, it came into place. A bit more desirable to have the gaps and edge roughness be more fine tuned. Comfort is like wood. Feels soft and enough resistance. I read some people complaining about how the seats aren't "adult" sized. I am 6'2 and fits fine. So I don't know what size those people are. A cushion will help soften the hard feel but I am plenty happy with it 4.0 out of 5 stars Great but just minor flaws By CoopaPple on April 14, 2021 It's a great looker, nice design beautiful color. I should mention that a few people have reported that the chalky residue didn’t go away after they painted their chairs –– no good. Honestly, I can’t say why some work and some don’t — it may be the material made to make the chair??? My best advice is to try this with one chair and see how it turns out before proceeding with the rest so you don’t waste your time and money. .
In addition to the power tools listed above, you will need to gather these to build Adirondack chairs. This list is per Adirondack chair, so if you plan to make multiple chairs make sure to multiply your screws, bolts, and wood by the amount of Adirondack chairs you intend to build. Our plan is to build 4 chairs so we multiplied each by 4.
Softwood is a cheaper option and very easy to physically manipulate with tools, so it shouldn’t be dismissed. You could use a selected few varieties of softwoods for Adirondack chairs.
Our customers often drive several hours to save money on poly outdoor furniture. Folks often express concern, over the phone, that something must be wrong with the furniture seen on this website since the prices are so much lower than poly outdoor furniture sold elsewhere. It is quite common that after our customers see the furniture in person, they load up as many pieces as they can fit in their vehicles. This customer called from New Jersey to reserve maybe a porch swing and maybe some folding Adirondack chairs if they liked the furniture after seeing it in person. They ended up buying 8 folding Adirondack chairs, 1 porch swing, 6 Adirondack footrests, 4 accent tables and 4 bent poly rocking chairs. I think it's fair to say they liked what they saw when they got here!

Beautiful furniture, lamps, clocks. High quality wood, no particle board. Absolutely worth going to see what they have.
I would imagine your garage is too humid. Spray paint takes longer to fully cure if it’s humid.
The popularity of this updated design spread, and because the chair originated in the Adirondacks, it was widely-known as the Adirondack chair. The exception is in Canada, where the chair is called the Muskoka chair, likely due to its popularity in the Muskoka region.
Pine: While pine takes more maintenance than teak, it is far more affordable. This light wood slowly fades to an attractive gray. As a softwood, it’s more susceptible to dings, scratches, and, unfortunately, bugs. You’ll need to refinish it every year or two to keep the wood looking its best and to help protect it from the weather. But if upkeep doesn’t worry you and you’re on a tight budget, pine is an excellent choice.
