Add all of the boards until your entire Adirondack chair is fully assembled. Then grab your orbital sander and give your newly built Adirondack chair a once-over to smooth any remaining rough edges.
You want all of your pieces to match as closely to the template as possible. And you may have cut a few pieces a little rough, or not exactly on the template so you will want to sand the edges smooth. To do this you can use a spindle sander. I admit that I started out clamping matching pieces together to attempt to sand them together. But I eventually gave up on that and sanded each piece one at a time, stopping periodically to compare them to one another. This is the oscillating spindle sander that I have HERE. .
On the bright side, working with it is such a breeze. It sands, cuts, planes, nails, glues, and screws without too much effort. It is also widely accessible in the US.

Traditionally, Adirondack chairs were made of wood. Today, there are more woods to choose from, as well as plastic and polywood.
Plastic chairs are especially durable in comparison to wooden models, which makes them the ideal candidate to keep outdoors at all times. As long as you clean them off every few weeks or at least once a month, you should have no trouble with the chairs for many, many years.
Especially designed to go along with our SeaAira style furniture, but works great with other styles also.
However this chair is still a great outdoors chairs for the heavy person and is meant to survive whatever Mother nature throws at it. It will come down to a personal choice to which Adirondack chair to buy, but my bet is still with the Highwood.
